December Diary
I am writing this diary I the middle of our very extensive tour. I have been overwhelmed at the welcome and support at all the venues especially in places that I have never performed before. Despite the harsh weather conditions people have been coming out in huge numbers to the concerts and many charities are benefiting because of the generosity of so many. By the time the Tour is over we will have performed in over 25 venues. I would like to thank the many people who have helped to promote the concerts. A special thanks also to all our friends at the various Radio Stations and other media throughout the country, who have been so helpful.
Of course none of this would be possible without the help of a great team ~ Mark, Brendan, Andrew, Martin, Darren, Kieran ,Chris, Mattie and of course Donal who maintains the Web Site.
Thank you also to the many people throughout the world who have emailed kind words on the publication of my book The Hope Prayer. I sincerely pray that people will find solace and consolation in these words, but it’s in the silence between the pages that hope and healing is found.
This is a difficult time of the year for many people who have lost their material possessions, and for many others have lost hope. The child born on a winter night in Bethlehem also came into a harsh world which was shrouded in darkness. His presence, in all its innocence brought light into the dark.
We need this Child to come again. We need to find peace. We need the innocence of Bethlehem to counteract cynical, cold and cruel hearts. We need Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men and Women to walk through our world again so that hope can be re-born and the tiny cry of a child will not be ignored.
I hope that all of you will know the peace of Bethlehem in your hearts and that the New Year will bring hope and prosperity to you and yours. I look forward to many new creative opportunities in the coming year.
With blessings
Liam
