October Diary

With technology today the world we live in becomes smaller and smaller and communication becomes ever so easier. I realise this more and more from the emails that come from all over the world. I was delighted to hear this week that our music is being sung in South Africa with added percussion and all ! I have always believed that music is an amazing bridge between peoples and their cultures. Hopefully someday I can return to sing in South Africa, a very beautiful country.

As you have probably seen on the site, our Christmas Tour has been announced. It includes many places that we have never played before and I am really looking forward to introducing my music to some new audiences. We are also delighted to be returning to some places where we have previously performed. I hope that we will be able to greatly help the various Charities that are running the events and that they get the support they al badly need. In the New Year we will visit some new venues, so hopefully people won’t be disappointed. There are a number of separate Charity events that I will also guest at, and we will post these on the site very soon when dates are confirmed.

Some time ago I was invited by the International Publishing House – Hachette – to write a book for them. After much thought and encouragement I decided to put pen to paper and the result will be launched in early November. The Book is called The Hope Prayer and is a collection of writings, prayers and song texts based on the theme of Hope, which is in so much need today. I received much help and advice from Editor Ciara Considine and the team at Hachette, and I hope that you will all be pleased with the result. My own deep desire is that people can take up this book, open it on any page, and find some words of encouragement and consolation. In a way it’s like an extension of my music.

A special thank you to all our visitors to the website, which is growing in numbers all the time.

I look forward to seeing you all in the near future,

With blessings

Liam
