April Diary

Within a few days I experienced the sun of southern California and the snows that have visited our Irish countryside again. No need to ask where I long to be ! It was lovely to meet some old friends in Chicago at Symphony Centre and then to travel on to Los Angeles. To all who were part of these experiences I want to say a thousand thanks for your kindness and support. It was a great honour to perform in the Annaheim Arena again this year. My thanks to all the great musicians and singers that supported me.

 

Back in Ireland we have some concerts over Easter week and beyond so hopefully the weather wont deter anyone from coming along. I continue to work with Mark on our new songs and being in the United States has certainly given me much inspiration as we put these new pieces together.

 

 I am delighted that my book – The Hope Prayer – is now available in the US . I received word during the week that it has also made its way to China , Australia, New Zealand and Canada . I hope people will find it useful and supportive for the various situations they find themselves in.

 

My Radio Programme for Good Friday on RTE 1 – (Irish Radio Station) is called – A Love beyond all Telling- It is a meditation on the Passion of Jesus and allowed me to use some of my favourite music pieces especially some great film scores that I love. I hope people will find it reflective for this day.

 

At a time when the world is experiencing much darkness I pray that the Light of the Resurrection will reach into all the dark places within our lives and call us forth to a new place of hope and healing.
