Its always nice to write the first page of a new diary for a new Year ! There is always the hope of a new start with new opportunities that await us around the corner. Of course none of us know what the New Year will bring but we can bring with us the memories and blessings of the past year.

 

As this New Year begins I have been enriched by the many people who crossed my path in the past year.  So many new people have now become friends with Liam Lawton Music and I hope that this will continue in the year ahead.

 

I look forward to performing in the USA and also in the UK later this year and I am currently putting my thoughts together for a new Book. We will be hosting a number of Workshops soon throughout the country and we will be announcing some new concerts over the coming months so the year looks packed already and we have only begun !

 

In February I look forward to the Irish Final of Eurovision but more details to follow ~ I will be hoping to have your support on that night. A documentary about the 5 composers and performers will be aired the week before to give people a flavour of the songs.

 

The new Courage Can Cry album has received some great reviews and I am very grateful to the many Radio stations that have played Tracks from it in the last month. I hope these songs will also find a place with some of the other well known songs from our repertoire.  

 

So here’s to a great New Year and I wish the very best with God’s blessing on you and all yours ……
