May Diary
I have been very fortunate to be currently on a Workshop Tour with Choirs throughout the country. It is affording me time to meet with people from every walk of life who have a great passion for music and singing and who give great service week in week out especially for liturgical Services.
We have received very kind reaction to my new setting of the Glendalough Mass which also allows me to highlight one of jewels of Celtic Ireland, since Glendalough is a place that I cherish very much. Already the music is being used in the USA and in Australia.
During the summer months I am working on some very interesting commissions which will be revealed later and along with our series of autumn concerts which will be posted soon we have some exciting news which will be unveiled. This year I am celebrating 20 years of music- making and later I will be honouring all those who have been part of the journey with me.
As I write this I am also saddened to hear of the death of the great Irish Singer Sean Dunphy whose beautiful voice and songs enthralled many over the years and I extend my deepest and prayers to his wife and family.
Don't forget that you can keep in touch with events also on Face Book on the Liam Lawton Music page.
I look forward to seeing you along the way
Liam
